Corporate Governance
The Africom board of directors consists of the following
members:
B V Mancama - Non Executive Chairman
Mr. Mancama is a distinguished and experienced
business executive with over 35 years of commercial
experience. He has served as a director for various companies
including Anglo American Corporation Services, Bindura Nickel
Corporation, Hippo Valley Estates, and the National Social
Security of Zimbabwe.
Kwanayi Kashangura - Executive Director and Chief Executive
Officer
Mr. Kashangura is the Chief Executive Officer of
Africom. He is an experienced and distinguished business
leader having overseen the birth and transition of Africom
into the leading ICT company that it is today. He holds a
Masters degree in Strategic Management from the University of
Derby, UK.
Nhena Nyagura - Executive Director and Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Nyagura is currently studying for a Masters in Business
Administration (MBA) from the University of Zimbabwe. He joined
Africom in 2006 and brings extensive international Telecommunications
experience that he gained in his previous assignements with
various global companies including RCN Corporation and Level 3 Communications.
C. Sambaza - Non Executive Director
Mr. Sambaza is a Chartered Accountant. He has
previously worked for Price Water House Coopers and is
currently the Group Finance Director of Interfin Holdings
Limited. Mr. Sambaza has experience in various industries and
sits on several boards including Interfin Holdings limited.
S Mangwende - Non Executive Director
Mr. Mangwende is a Chartered Accountant and holds a
Bachelor of Accounting Science Degree from the University of
South Africa.
He has previously worked for Price Water House Coopers
(Johannesburg) as an audit manager and ABSA Corporate and
Merchant SA as a Structured Finance Executive. He brings
extensive business experience to the Africom board.
C Chitiyo - Non Executive Director
Ms Chitiyo is a legal practitioner and partner in Wickwar
and Chitiyo Legal Practitioners, one of the leading law firms
in Zimbabwe. She holds a BLHons LLB degree from the University
of Zimbabwe and has been involved in Legal practice for
several years. She sits on several boards.
